Pt. Amber Swami
Amber Swami, born and raised in Ghaziabad, grew up imbued with strong Hindu values and ethics. He has dedicated much of his life to social and community activities, particularly within the Brahman community. Since 2022, he has served as the National President of the Youth Wing of the World Brahman Federation (WBF), focusing on uniting and uplifting Brahmans across India. Before this, he was the General Secretary of WBF from 2017 to 2021, working diligently to promote the vision of Pandit Mange Ram Sharma, the Founder Chairman of WBF.
Amber’s leadership in WBF has been marked by his efforts to foster unity within the Brahman community and advocate for their social and cultural causes. His initiatives have significantly strengthened the organization’s outreach and impact, especially among the youth.
In the political realm, Amber Swami is an active member of the Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM). He has been the West UP Convener of the IT Vibhag since 2021. Earlier, he served as the National Co-convener of IT for BJYM under Shri Anurag Thakur, the then National President of BJYM. His notable contributions include leading a national online campaign during the General Election 2014 to boost the participation of online supporters for the BJP. He also developed the “Click to Connect” Android Mobile App for BJYM’s membership campaign, enabling remote member registration via smartphones.
Professionally, Amber is a Presales Consultant in IT Infrastructure Services with a leading IT consultancy company in India. His academic background includes a Master’s Degree in Information Technology from the University of Greenwich, London (2006), and an MBA from the University of Glasgow, Scotland (2010). His international experience spans roles in both private and government sectors in the UK and India.
During his time in the UK, Amber represented the School of Computing in the student union of the University of Greenwich and served as a student ambassador, encouraging and mentoring school students. At the University of Glasgow, he organized the “Holi Festival” to showcase Indian culture, reflecting his strong organizational skills. Additionally, he served as the President of the Alumni Association of ABES Group of Engineering Colleges, Ghaziabad, from 2013 to 2018.
Amber Swami’s diverse roles and achievements highlight his commitment to both his community and his professional pursuits, underpinned by the strong Hindu values and ethics he was raised with in Ghaziabad.
